-'Enigma' which is a technique for creating a mystery,
-'Cliff hanger' is where an end of either an episode or series or film that stops at a interesting moment where you would expect to see. These MUST make the audience 'hooked'. The ideas must be creative and easy to understand as the beginning and ending of a film launches the narrative of the film.
From the ideas based on books, to help me think more into angles of thrillers and some useful props, I looked at two book Promos: No Time For Good Bye and Fear The Worst. These were books written by Linwood Barclay.
Heres screenshots that I put together from each of the Promos to help influence me.
Because I found it hard to come up with ideas, my previously explained ideas were based around books, however I had developed them ideas further to a more advanced theme. This seemed quite complicated though, and the sequence to make and film would be longer than 2 minutes. If I shortened the idea then it would not make sense and may bore the audience. Below is my preparation sheet and brainstorm of ideas that I came up with. Baring in mind these ideas were rough ideas to help me start up. These would then be further on developed.
Below is evidence of my rough plans and ideas for my final piece.
